Renee Kathleen Zellweger

Renee Kathleen Zellweger is a daughter of Kjellfrid Andreassen, a former midwife as well as a nurse from Norway. Her birth date was April 25, 1969 in Katy. Emil Erich Zellweger, her father, is a Swiss engineer. The couple got became married in 1963. Renee has a brother named Drew Zellweger, a marketing executive born on February 15 in 1967. While working in the drama club, Renee became interested in acting. In Austin she also took an acting course and decided to explore acting as a profession. After graduating, she wanted to go back to acting, but Hollywood is a tough city to get into, and so Renee chose to remain in Texas and attempted to audition for roles around Houston where she was able to grab roles in such films such as Reality Bites (1994) and Empire Records (1995). Matthew McConaughey was another Hollywood newcomer that she met filming Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2: The Next Generation (1994). Renee saw him work on a project that caught her attention. She was a part-time auditioner and was awarded the role in Love and A.45 (1994). The film earned her enough critical praise and a decision to move to Los Angeles. A further role in The Whole Wide World (1996) came next, and led to her first big break. Cameron Crowe was busy casting his next film which was Jerry Maguire (1996),starring Tom Cruise. Crowe was looking at actresses like Bridget Fonda and Marisa Tomei when he saw Zellweger's performance on The Whole Wide World (1996). He auditioned Zellweger and was convinced he had found the perfect Dorothy Boyd. After her successes in a handful of independent movies, Renee felt confident enough to make a return to the huge-budget Hollywood film industry. Meryl Streep played her in One True Thing (1998). She also appeared alongside Jim Carrey in Me, Myself & Irene (2000) and began to date Carrey within a short time. Bridget Jones's Diary (2001).
